Untold Stories. Bold Voices.

Support Your 25/26 Season!
Producing in this city takes resources, and every little bit helps. Your contribution helps us secure performance and rehearsal space, compensate our artists fairly, bring designers and crew members on board, procure props, costumes, set pieces etc., and much more. To bring you 2 Cabaret performances, a staged reading, and two full productions we need to raise $45,000. No amount is too small (or big!) to help us fulfill our mission of uplifting new voices in a loud world.
It is the mission of Tantrum East to bring untold stories to the stage, screen, street or cellphone. Works that subvert our expectations –that actively represent the stunning diversity of the human experience. We enable the telling of these stories by providing an artist-centric environment in which our artists feel free to fail and try again. Our goal is to amplify new voices in a loud world.
Founded in 2018, Tantrum East was created to showcase the works of Ohio University, School of Theater alumni in New York City. With access to scripts, actors, directors, designers, and the desire to organize, we acted. Beginning with Bobsnacks: A Night of Stories, Tantrum East empowered readings for OU Playwrights. Since then, our productions have extended from Staged Readings to Short Films to Podcasts.
We are humbled by the support we have received from friends, family, and fellow Bobcats – without whom – we would be unable to make any of this happen. If you care to join our Bobcat family please feel free to do so here!
Thank you for stopping by!
